These deer share genetic characteristics with the impressive whitetails found just north of us in Canada. To successfully harvest these remarkable whitetails, we employ a variety of hunting methods, including spot and stalk techniques, rattling, tree stands, glassing open areas, and tracking scrape lines. It's essential to keep in mind that your hunting tag is valid for either a whitetail or a mule deer buck, as our hunting area accommodates both species of deer.
